The new president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Côte d’Ivoire (CCICI) Faman Toure officially took office on Tuesday in Abidjan at the end of burden ceremony with his predecessor Nicolas Djibo, in presence of commerce Minister Jean-Louis Billon, APA notes in the Ivorian economic capital.

 On this occasion, Mr. Billon invited the Ivorian political world to inspire the business world considering that the Ivory Coast needs stability to be competitive.

” Since its existence the Chamber of Commerce has always renewed and has always lived transparency of contracts. Unfortunately in the Ivory Coast, we have not experienced procurement policy in the democratic process as clear and steady as we have just done ” he said.

Continuing the Ivorian Minister of Trade wanted the politics is inspired more of the economic world which ‘ensures the wealth and development of a country.’ ‘

‘ ‘We need this stability and we all know that we will have parliamentary elections, referendum (…) that all this happens as the process that we have experienced in our institution and we will experience the emergence because we need stability, a stable and competitive environment ”, added Mr Billon.

It s’ is also welcomed the transparent and fair organization which saw the victory of Faman Touré Faman and Parfait Kouassi at the Chamber of commerce and head of Coast Ivory industry.

Nicolas Djibo, the outgoing president of the House welcomed this term of office, which lasted 14 years and held despite the torments of the long political and military crisis in Ivory Coast. ” We let a chamber of commerce and a fully structured development growth, ” has he said.

Faman Touré, the new president of the chamber of commerce and industry has in turn promised to ensure the consolidation of the assets inherited from its predecessors.

” This is a good trade chamber health, well-structured heritage and healthy. In this parliamentary term we will arm our vision with the expectations of the State of Côte d’Ivoire ” said Mr. Touré.

The list Faman Toure and Parfait Kouassi was elected on 31 July. Parfait Kouassi provides the first vice-presidency of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Côte d’Ivoire.
