The Messenger of Allah (alaihi wasallam) is the best of the children of Adam ( ‘alaihi salaam). It was endowed with many qualities that we can not identify but we will try to describe some of his wisdom into parts insha’Allah. Allah said: {Indeed, you have in the Messenger of Allah an excellent model to follow} (Surah 33: Verse 21). The Messenger of Allah (alaihi wasallam) is our model, our example that we must follow insha’Allah. To make this point, we will base mainly on the book “The behavior of the Prophet ( ‘alaihi wasallam)” written by Sheikh’ Abd Al-Muhsin Al ‘Abbad.

his generosity

The Messenger of Allah (alaihi wasallam) was endowed with a generosity that no one can claim to achieve. Ibn ‘Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: “The Messenger of Allah (alaihi wasallam) was the most generous of men; he had more enthusiasm during the month of Ramadan when Jibreel (Gabriel) met him. He was visiting indeed all the nights of Ramadan and they were revising the Quran. The Messenger of Allah (alaihi wasallam) was so generous a fertile wind. “It was” the most generous of men. ”

Moreover, he proved his generosity by his intercession demand for community insha’Allah. Indeed, it has been authenticated he said ( ‘alayhi wasallam): “Every prophet sees fulfill a vow he issued. I booked mine to intercede on behalf of my community, the Day Resurrection . “He was generous to us by devoting his vow to his community. No prophet before him did for his community and no other Prophet will do.

A woman came to the Messenger of Allah (alaihi wasallam) with a woven cloak and said: “I braided my own hands in order to offer you. “He needed it so he donned this mantle. Then, one of the companions asked the Messenger of Allah (alaihi wasallam) to offer her his coat, which he accepted. He went home to the fold and bring it to him.Other companions (may Allah be pleased with him) criticized this request to their mate as follows: “The Messenger of Allah (alaihi wasallam) was coated need, and you dare ask him knowing that he never refuses anything! – By Allah! Exclaimed he, I did not ask him to put him, but I wanted to keep it to make my shroud. “Sa’ad ibn Abi Waqqas (may Allah be pleased with him) confirms:” It was actually his shroud. “This is an example of many of the great generosity of our beloved Prophet ( ‘alaihi wasallam).

Similarly, the Messenger of Allah (alaihi wasallam) was so generous that one could think he did not fear poverty. In this sense, Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: “Nothing was asked the Messenger of Allah in Islam without his offer. When a man came to him, he awarded him a flock of sheep between two mountains. Back to his tribe, he exclaimed: “O people! You convert! Mohamed grants as one who does not fear poverty. “If someone wanted to convert for material reasons, you should not expect much before Islam becomes dearer to him than the whole world. ”

How many people could be so generous these days? it is an example of generosity and kindness to us. May Allah have mercy companions and righteous predecessors. May did He allow us to improve our behavior in order to bring us closer to His Messenger ( ‘alayhi wasallam).
