“the organization of the contest, the start of the implementation of the administration modernization measures” is the theme chosen by the Minister Pascal K. Abinan to exchange with reporters. This was during a press breakfast held this Monday, March 21, 2016 at the new canteen of the Ministry of Civil Service and Modernisation of Administration. The Minister, during his intervention indicated two major innovations in the conduct of administrative examinations 2016.

This is primarily the decentralization of the organization of competitions that will, stressed the Minister Pascal K. Abinan, the revitalization of the Regional Directorates (CD) through their involvement in the registration process and composition. Concretely, the Regional Directorates serve as centers for medical visits, records repositories, preparation courses and compositions. According to the Minister, this decentralization least disrupt the normal functioning of our administrations, especially with regard to applicants for professional competitions. For the pilot phase of this competition decentralization of operation, seven (07) Regional Departments were chosen based on criteria relating inter alia to their strategic position but also the density of officials living in these areas. These are the Regional Directorates in Abidjan, Yamoussoukro, Bouaké, Korhogo, Abengourou, Daloa and Man.

Another innovation to point out is the reduction of expenses related to competition, passing 33,500 FCFA 23,500 FCFA.Factors militating in favor of the reduction of nearly 30%, deletions fee covers and fees for submitting applications for the position because of their receipt by the DR.
