The society in which we live our pushes to live in relative ease, that many of our brothers and sisters around the world can not afford. Recklessness more than affluence brings us to forget the precepts of the Koran and the Sunnah. How to behave to avoid falling into the excesses? This is the question we ask.

2 2 hadiths and verses of the Qur’an following are chosen to remember that simple everyday life gestures can tip us into transgression of what Allah wants for us: a healthy life away any excess.

1. The behavior with food and drinks

Room, act as simple as this one, is also a gesture of faith that the Muslim performs to increase its strength in order to better worship his Lord. Increase consumption of food to the point of sickening therefore have the opposite effect. This hadith testifies:
The Prophet, peace and salvation on him, said: “The son of Adam does not fill a container worse than his stomach. The human being does not need more than a few bites that keep him alive. If he absolutely wants to eat more, so he spends a third of his stomach to his food, a third for his drink and one third for his breath. “ A u thentifié by Sheikh Albani
2 . The behavior with water

Use water for cooking, bathing, or would that make his ablutions must be accompanied by the desire to please Allah exhorts us not to become excessive people in everything.

Imam Ahmad and Ibn Madjah narrated from Abdullah Ibn Al-As, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Prophet, peace and salvation on him, passed by Sa’d, may Allah be pleased with him, making his ablutions, and he said:

Why this waste, O Saad?

Is there is waste in the ablutions?

Yes, even if you were standing beside a flowing river.

2 verses of the Koran now:

3. Excess leads us into wasting Allah disapproves.

Consuming excessive, and even spend in Allah’s way without restraint or worship our Lord without time limit can lead us to excess. This would cause injustice with respect to ourselves by damaging our health, or others by not distributing our goods and our time equally, and that while Islam is the religion of balance. Away so wasteful is a divine order for all our sakes.
17.27 For the spendthrifts are brothers of the devils; and the devil is ever ungrateful to his Lord.

4. Love of God, a reason for increased efforts

Is this not an excellent source of extra motivation, if not the first, to do everything in order to deviate from excess: wanting the love of Allah? Away from anything that would prevent us from not being loved by Allah Azza wa jal must be our priority. Multiply that bring us closer to His Love and eliminate possible acts of our lives that prevent us from doing some of the friends of Allah.

7/31 Koran

Allah, Exalted be He, said: O Children of Adam, in each place of Salat wear your adornment (your clothes). And eat and drink; and do not transgress, for He [Allah] does not like those who commit excess.

Believers, do not they deserve the best of it? Allah Ta’ala has enslaved what is on earth for them, allowing us to live our faith well. A little reflection to avoid wasting all, wasting, and away from most in worth, right?
