LONDON (Reuters) – Total said Monday the gas fields into production Laggan-Tormore up, off the Shetland Islands in the North Sea.

At its peak, the production of the first major gas field opened in British waters since 2013 will be about 14 million cubic meters per day. The French oil group controls 60% of the deposit, its partners DONG Energy and SSE each holding 20%.

The deposits near Edradour and Glenlivet, highlighted by the same partners, for their part should go into production in 2017 and 2018 respectively.
