A year goes, another comes!
But the year 2015 has been for us a year like no other. It will remain engraved in the memory of Ivorians such as that seen for the first time in our country, a presidential election smoothly, without incident, without killings. And that, since the departure of founding father, Houphouet Boigny President.
To this end, I would like to thank all Ivorians irrespective of their political affiliation or their religious affiliation. But I especially want to thank the activists of the PDCI-RDA party founder of modern Côte d’Ivoire and activists RHDP which, as a single person stood to appropriate the Call Daoukro and went to vote our candidate, President Alassane Ouattara. I also thank all those who abstained from voting, as this helps democracy. Our Constitution does not oblige anyone to vote. I therefore urge all Ivorians to get around President Alassane Ouattara who shot a terrific job in four years and to whom we have renewed our trust over 83%, a real plebiscite! Our country is back in the concert of nations. Ivorians, Ivorians, Activists Rally of Houphouetists for Democracy and Peace, the thought of Houphouet-Boigny is a positive thought, made of love, dialogue and especially peace. It can not be Houphouetist and advocating violence and hatred. This is why I would call here each other to put the ball down and invite the children of Houphouët-Boigny, to patience, to union hearts and minds, dialogue, cohesion and peace. The RHDP is a formidable weapon that must be preserved because if we use it, it will save us all fighting. We must silence our personal ambitions and go to the essentials to build together this beautiful country that is our heritage, we will have legacy we leave to future generations. We are all born IBD and I want us to think about that. It is my duty to remind all those who claim children of Houphouet-Boigny. May the peace that never runs dry or for all Ivorians a daily commodity. I wish all Ivorians an iron health and happiness total in this year 2016. Happy New Year!
Bédié President of the PDCI-RDA
