The Network of professional online media Ivory Coast (REPPRELCI) organizes from Monday in Grand-Bassam (Abidjan suburb), in partnership with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), a seminar to reflect on self-regulation and the business environment for digital media in the country.According to the terms of reference sent Friday to APA, this seminar will bring together 35 participants from different companies online media as well as regulatory bodies and of the press industry self-regulation, the theme: ” Self-regulation and economic environment of digital media in Côte d’Ivoire: What mechanisms to foster credible and viable media companies? ”. The general objective of this first seminar, says Vice President of REPPRELCI Lassina SERME, also spokesperson, is to make a diagnosis without complacency in the digital media sector in Côte d’Ivoire, to identify the ills that plague its credibility and exposed to severe insecurity, to finally propose viable solutions to its emergence.
